The Art and Business of Television Production
Art & Business of Film Festival Production

During the 2003-2004 school term, Lake Tahoe Public TV accepted its first Interns into a Multimedia Arts Program for a minimum of 15 hours per week for one school term.

They took part in producing TV programming, a mini movie, created movie posters for advertising our films using Adobe PhotoShop, performed non-linear editing while working on a video assignment in collaboration with Project MANA, to produce their organizational video.

This opportunity affords students the ability to work "hands on" in broadcasting, TV Production and business administration while earning credits towards graduation at Incline Village High School. Our programs will vary according to the individual student interests.

Currently our Internship quota is filled. However, we will interview those candidates driven to discuss the many facets of Multimedia Arts and future Internship positions. If you have an interest in becoming an Intern for Lake Tahoe Public TV, a division of Tahoe/Reno International Film Festival, call and make an appointment to discuss your future in the field of Multimedia Arts.

Priority will be given to students interested in learning the fields of TV Production, Filmmaking, Screenplay Development, Communications, Computer Graphics, Journalism, Marketing/Public Relations and related fields.

Our Multimedia Arts program includes but is not limited to: TV Broadcasting, Video Production, Non-linear Editing, Production of Documentaries-Television Programming-Mini Movies-Sitcoms-Dramas, Screenplay Development.

All Interns interested in film production will be taught film appreciation through festival screenings.
